Steven began his investment industry career in 1995 and joined Stifel in 2011. He has qualified to be a member of Stifel’s Chairman’s Council since 2013. Through Stifel’s Solutions Program, he is able to streamline trading in managing accounts for clients who choose discretionary advisory services.
Prior to joining Stifel, Steven worked at Smith Barney, Prudential Securities, and UBS Financial Services. Steven earned a B.S in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from The Ohio State University and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses.
Steven and his wife, Carrie, reside in Highland Beach, Florida, and Los Angeles, California. They have two adult children, Sloane and Jackson, and a dog, Lake. Steven enjoys traveling, live music, drinking wine, eating chocolate, cycling, golfing, and being in the great outdoors.
For 2023 qualification, the Stifel Chairman’s Council consisted of 240 of the firm’s top-producing financial advisors from among its more than 2,300 advisors across the nation.

Adam began his investment industry career in 2004 and joined Stifel in 2015. Prior to joining Stifel, he worked in the institutional fixed income division of Union Bank of California and Union Bank NA. Adam then worked for Barclays Capital Inc. and Barclays Wealth & Investment Management, Americas until joining Stifel. Adam earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. CFA charter holders are required to pass three levels of exams, which cover topics such as economics, portfolio management and wealth planning, and quantitative methods used in financial analysis and investment decision-making. Adam is a portfolio manager in Stifel’s Solutions Program, which allows him to adapt strategies designed to combine customized investment management with the ability to quickly react to market conditions for clients who choose discretionary advisory services.
Adam earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses. He is a past executive board member of Food Access LA and currently serves as the chairs of both the audit committee and investment committee for Union Station Homeless Services Mission.
Adam and his wife live in Pasadena, California, with their three daughters and their dog, Buster Brown. He and his family enjoy attending USC Trojans football games, and he and his wife still try to find time to attend live music events around raising their three children.

Prior to joining Stifel, she worked at Seidler Amdec, Stern Fisher Edwards, Schroder & Co., Donaldson, Lukin, & Jenrette, and A.G. Edwards. Maxine earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Irvine and holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
A Los Angeles native, Maxine enjoys going to the theatre, movies, and is a Disney adult.
Marlyss began her financial services career in 1995 and joined Stifel in 2019. Prior to joining Stifel, she spent more than 20 years on the Institutional Trading Desk at William O’Neil + Co and later its sister company, O’Neil Securities Inc. During her tenure at O’Neil, Marlyss worked directly with O’Neil founder Bill O’Neil as well as the company CEO. She earned a B.S. in Management/Human Resources from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and holds Series 7, 55, and 63 securities licenses.
Marlyss resides in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, traveling, and playing racquetball. She is also a “former” marathon runner and is a big fan of the Los Angeles Clippers.
